Computer vision is one of the most significant parts in Robotics perception area. In this project, I used webcam to recognize hand grestures, locate and track the fingertip of index finger, and show the handwriting on the screen.

About

I received my BS in Mechatronics Engineering from Zhejiang University in China in 2017. During my time as an undergrad, I took not only a variety of courses on mechatronics and control theory, but also learned practical skills in embedded programming, 3D modeling and simulation, and prototyping, which qualified me for electromechanical system integration.

I am interested in the perception part of robotics, and plan to focus on areas such as localization and planning, computer vision, and sensor fusion. After graduation, I will dedicate myself to developing practical and affordable robotic devices, for manufacturing or daily life, to bring robotics everywhere.
